Steps :

1 . Format a MicroSD / SDHC Memory Card

There are three common ways to format a Memory Card :

• Using Windows XP/Vista/7 Format Tool
• Using Panasonic Memory Card Format Program
• Using Mac Memory Card Format Tool

Here, we just introduce the most common way - Using Window XP/Vista/7 Format Tool . As for the other two methods, you can click here for specific operation .

Using Windows XP/Vista/7 Format Tool

After inserting the microSD into the card reader, go to My Computer.

b) Right click the driver representing the microSD memory card.

c) Choose Format

d) Click Start to format the memory card in FAT32

EZ Flash Vi Firmware Fix

EZ Flash Vi / 5i Firmware Fix for 3DS v 2.1.0(V1.4.3C)

1. Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC

• Winrar can be downloaded from www.download.com by searching for Winrar at the Search.
• Unzip the files mentioned under the Software Preparation above, you will have three folders and one file as follows.

2. Select all the above unzipped files and copy them to the microSD memory card

3. Plug in the Micro SD/SDHC to the Supercard DSTWO. Insert the EZ Flash Vi with the microSD into the slot 1 of the DS Liteconsole. Turn on the DS Lite console.

4. For DS & DS Lite , you will see the WARNING – HEALTH AND SAFETY message. Please touch the touch screen or press button A to continue.

6. Wait for the EZ Flash Vi to load.

7. When you see this menu, please select  " ez5firmwreUP_V105.nds " and press A to continue.

8. Go to the following menu , chose "ez5firmwareUP_V105.nds", and touch the icon or press button A to continue.

9. Then you will see the message "Welcome to EZFlash Vi firmware upgrader, Please make sure your console is under good battery condition. Do Not powever off or pull out cartridge when updating the firmware. Hardware VER [805] FirmVer [104]" please press Y to continue.

10. Next, the console will tell you the current firmware version of your EZ Flash Vi. If it's v104, then please press A to continue.

11.Waiting EZ Flash Vi to upgrade. When you see the message "Upgrade successfully  Please power off and restart the console to make the new firmware take effect! DSi users requirs a long shutdown by power button", that means you have upgraded the firmware successfully. Please restart the console and enjoy yourself. 

12. When you restart the EZ Flash Vi, you will see the icon with the name "Tak The Great Juju Challenge THQ "

Notice

Firmware 105 for EZ Flash Vi / EZ Vi ,support DSi V1.4.2 and 3DS V2.10 .But V105 not compatible with DSi & DSi XL /LL Version below V1.4 , if you are staying at the low DSi Version, don't update!

EZ Flash Vi Setup Guide

1. Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC

• Winrar can be downloaded from www.download.com by searching for Winrar at the Search.
• Unzip the files mentioned under the Software Preparation above, you will have three folders and one file as follows.

2. Select all the above fives unzipped files and copy them to the microSD memory card

3. Copy your own files, including moonshell2 , music, movies, pictures and other data to the Micro SD/SDHC memory card.

4. Plug in the Micro SD/SDHC to the Supercard DSTWO. Insert the EZ Flash Vi with the microSD into the slot 1 of the DS console. Turn on the DS console.

5. For DS & DS Lite , you will see the WARNING – HEALTH AND SAFETY message. Please touch the touch screen or press button A to continue.

6. For DSi or DSi XL, "Tak The Great Juju Challenge THQ". Please touch the icon or press button A to continue.

7. Wait for the EZ Flash Vi to load.

8. Congratulation if you have come this far as you have successfully set up your EZ Flash Vi. There you go. Enjoy your DS with the multimedia functions.
